The Daintree Rainforest is tucked away in the heart of tropical Queensland, promising visitors a landscape filled with lush forest, incredible wildlife, and spectacular views. Our 1-day Cape Tribulation & Daintree Tour give you the chance to really get under the skin of this amazing place, as well as take you to Cape Tribulation, where you can experience the stunning moment that rainforest meets ocean.
Throughout the day, you’ll get to discover ancient plant life, spot unique wildlife, and walk through mesmerizing scenery – not something to be missed in this part of Australia.
Daintree River
After leaving Cairns and arriving in the Daintree National Park, we’ll stop for a morning tea on the picturesque banks of the Daintree River.
We’ll then take you on a guided river cruise, where you can spot magnificent crocs and other wildlife while a local biologist gives you a run down on their natural habitat and behaviour.

Marrdja Boardwalk
When you step back onto dry land, we’ll make our way deeper into the Daintree Rainforest, where the landscape becomes much denser and you’ll get to see the more elusive critters that call the forest home – like the endangered Cassowary.
We’ll head to Marrdja Boardwalk, where we’ll take you on a guided rainforest walk for an hour. You’ll get an insight into the captivating plant and tree life, which is set against a backdrop of crystal clear streams.
Cape Tribulation
For lunch, we’ll make our way to stunning Cape Tribulation where we’ll tuck into a delicious picnic. Afterwards, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the beach and its surrounding scenery.
Alexandra Range and Mossman Gorge
Then we’ll make our way to the Alexandra Range, where you can look out across the sweeping views of the Daintree Rainforest below, before heading on to Mossman Gorge and having an

afternoon tea.

Port Douglas and Rex Lookout
On the way back to Cairns, we’ll take you through the charming fishing village of Port Douglas. We’ll then make a quick stop at Rex Lookout, from which you can gaze over the stunning coastal scenery of Trinity Bay, Coral Bay, and the spectacular Great Barrier Reef.
We’ll then arrive back in Cairns, where this incredible day trip that combines both lush jungle and sea views unfortunately comes to an end. You’ll have plenty of memories and photos to remember this magnificent part of Australia for the rest of your life, though.
