The Hunter Valley is haven of culture and delicious treats – especially for the wine lovers out there. Bringing together a collection of ancient vineyards and serving up seasonal produce alongside stunning views of the countryside, this area really isn’t one to miss.

With our Hunter Valley Wine Tour $120, you can explore everything the region has to offer, tucking into some of the best-loved tipples from the local wineries and soaking up the incredible sights. We’ll take you to some of the best wineries in the area and give you the chance to sample some of the delicious flavours that have become world-famous in these parts.

McGuigans Wines
We start the tour by heading through the picturesque scenery of the Hunter Valley straight to McGuigans Wines, where you’ll get to go behind the scenes to learn more about the winemaking process in the Valley. Afterwards, you can sample some of the wines on offer, including the popular sparking varieties.
Cypress Lakes Resort
For lunch, we’ll grab a table at the luxurious Cypress Lakes Resort. Here, you can tuck into a delicious seasonal meal with a glass of wine. Taste some of the local flavours served up in mouth-watering international dishes while you bask in the stunning scenery that surrounds the resort.
Drayton’s Family Wines
Once you’re refueled, we’ll move on to our second winery, Drayton’s Family Wines. Again, you’ll get to enjoy a lengthy wine-tasting experience while you learn about the history of the vineyard and its unique winemaking process. This is one of the very few companies in the Valley that remains family owned and run, so you can get an intimate look into cultural life in the Hunter Valley.
Wynwood Estate
Finally, we’ll make a pit stop at Wynwood Estate, one of the area’s most traditional and well-loved wineries. Once more, you’ll have the chance to taste some of the local flavours in a wine sampling session before we hit the road again and weave our way back through the Hunter Valley.
Throughout the day, you’ll get a glimpse into winemaking life in the Hunter Valley and get to try some of the most coveted wine varieties in the region. This day-long adventure to one of Australia’s prettiest parts will open your eyes to the rich culture of it and expose you to some incredible views as you go.
