The Hair Salon
Hyde Park is one of the major hotspots of the Sydney Festival. Throughout the event, it will be hosting the Festival Village, where numerous personalities, music acts, and circus performers take to the main stage.
The Beach
This year, the Festival is going all out with a giant ball pit that will act like a sand-less beach. There will be more than 1.1 million recyclable polyethylene balls in the Cutaway at Barangaroo.
Glitterbox
Make some memories at the Sydney Festival by hitting the Glitterbox with your friends. You can dance away to your favourite song in a glowing box that automatically turns your awesome moves into a work of art.
Art Exhibitions
Because of its cultural prowess, the Sydney Festival sees numerous exhibitions open their doors during the event every year. This time, you have the chance to see Vernon Ah Kee’s not and animal or a plant exhibition and artworks by the late Myuran Sukumaran amongst many others.
Carriageworks Night Market
For the foodies out there, Sydney Festival has you covered. At the Carriageworks Night Market, you can browse the stalls of fifty leading restaurateurs, sampling their goods and filling up on all things delicious.
Roller Jam
Step back in time to the 80s with Hyde Park’s Roller Jam. Taking place every Saturday morning throughout January, this mass roller jam is a fun way to stay active and listen to some awesome tunes.
Breaking Ground
The urban scene of Sydney comes to life at the Breaking Ground show, where you can watch as the country’s best breakdancers battle it out during one afternoon of pure hip hop and body pumping.
