Over the course of the tour, you will learn more about the flora and fauna of the region and explore sprawling beaches, ancient rainforests, and incredible coastline.

Cape Jervis
The tour begins in Adelaide, where we’ll start by taking a scenic drive through the Fleurieu Peninsula to Cape Jervis, where we’ll then take a ferry through the beautiful Backstairs Passage to Kangaroo Island.
Rob’s Shearing and Sheep Dogs
We’ll then head straight to Rob’s Shearing and Sheep Dogs – our first stop. Here, you’ll get to witness a traditional sheep shearing demonstration and learn more about the local way of life on the island. Afterwards, we’ll head to Pennington Bay where you can marvel at the breath-taking views of the beach.
Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery
Next, we move on to the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery for our next stop. This is the only commercial eucalyptus distillery in the whole of South Australia, and you’ll get to learn more about the distilling process and try some of the unique products.
Seal Bay and Little Sahara

Then it’s on to Seal Bay, where you can watch the colony of seals bask in the sunshine before we head to Little Sahara, a mesmerizing expanse of sand dunes where you can try your hand at sand boarding.
Vivonne Bay Lodge
We’ll stay at Vivonne Bay Lodge overnight, where you can experience the wild surroundings of Kangaroo Island. Before darkness falls, you can swim in the ocean, kayak along the Harriet River, or do another activity that tickles your fancy before our BBQ dinner.

Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary

On day two, we’ll rise early and head to the Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can spot some native and non-native species, like koalas, wallabies, kangaroos, and echidnas.

 
Admirals Arch
Then it’s on to Admirals Arch, one of the most popular natural wonders on the Island. Here, you can watch the New Zealand Fur Seals frolic in their natural habitat before we enjoy a traditional BBQ lunch at the Flinders Chase Visitor Centre.
Stokes Bay
Finally, we’ll move onto Stokes Bay, a beautifully secluded beach. While here, we’ll take a walk to Ironstone Hill to gaze out at the amazing ocean views before making our way back to the mainland.
