The Gold Coast Hinterland boasts incredible scenery filled with tropical rainforests, cascading waterfalls, and a unique ecosystem that’s just waiting to be explored. You can discover all of this and more on our Springbrook National Park Tour, which takes you away from the beaches of the Gold Coast and to the spectacular World Heritage Listed Springbrook Mountain.

To start the day, we’ll head out into the Hinterland where you can spot native plant species and colourful breeds of bird. We’ll stop off at magical waterfalls that flow deep in the heart of some of the world’s oldest forests. You’ll learn all about the ecosystem and the history of the region as you go.
For lunch, we’ll stop at Springbrook Manor, where you can tuck into local cuisine (at your own expense) and relax and soak up the views. Surrounding the manor, there are 25 acres of pristinely manicured gardens and lawns that you’ll have plenty of time to stroll around. While you’re there, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for evidence of the Yowie, an ape-like creature that is thought to walk the forests of the region.
After we’ve refueled, it’s back into the Hinterlands where we’ll take you to Natural Arch. This natural rock formation is a hugely popular attraction in the area and boasts a fascinating natural history. You can learn all about how it was created by the force of the water over the basalt cave it originally formed. While here, you can also spot the glow worms that live inside the caves and provide a magical addition to your experience in the Hinterland.
Before we head back to the Gold Coast, you’ll have the chance to enjoy some of the exotic bush tucker that’s found in the region for a real taste of local life. Once fully satisfied, we’ll take you back through the Hinterland and return to the pristine beaches of the stunning Gold Coast. Here, you’ll melt back into coastal life with plenty of memories from your time on Springbrook Mountain.
Don’t forget to pack your camera, as there will plenty of opportunities to snap the stunning scenery, which includes everything from lush rainforests and ancient plant life, to cascading, majestic waterfalls, and fairytale scenes of glow worms as they flit around centuries-old caves. The Gold Coast Hinterland is well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
