The Whispering Wall
This 9-storey high dam is an iconic landmark in the region, and is known as the Whispering Wall because of its amazing acoustics. You’ll be able to take pictures here and marvel at this incredible wonder.
Chateau Yaldara
Chateau Yaldara is one of Barossa Valley’s best-loved wineries. It boasts a rich history that spans back decades, and is one of the forerunners of the Australian wine industry. The
Chateau also happens to be one of the South Australia’s most photographed buildings, and you’ll get to sample wine and soak up the views in its breath-taking grounds.
The Township of Tanunda
In between wine tasting and eating, we’ll stop off in the small, quaint town of Tanunda, where you can pick up a couple of souvenirs and explore the tree-lined streets. There’ll be time for you to stop for a coffee and enjoy the picturesque scenes.
Lunch at the Peter Lehmann Winery
Lunch is a feast at this exquisite winery, where you’ll get to tuck into platters piled high with fresh cured meat, local cheeses, and baked bread, accompanied by a glass of delicious plonk.
Old Langmeil
If you’re a Shiraz lover, you’ll enjoy our stop off at Langmeil, one of the oldest wineries in the
Barossa Valley and the oldest Shiraz cellar in the entire world. We’ll sample wines here and enjoy the views of the valley from nearby Mengler’s Hill.
New Thinking at Murray Street Vineyards
Here, you can try some of the artisan wines of this contemporary and forward-thinking winery. Combining old and new ways of producing wine, it offers a complete overview of the wine-making process.
