If you head out to Fortitude and West End then expect to hear some great music, everything from up-and-coming local bands to established artists. Jazz is really popular around here so look forward to being blown away.

Brisbane is home to Queensland’s premier shopping precinct, The City. There is also great shopping to be found in Paddington and Fortitude Valley. Fortitude Valley is home to local designers and high-end fashion outlets such as the Emporium and James Street.

Brisbane takes its food and drink extremely seriously. So whether you are munching on a burger in a pub or sitting in a five-star restaurant expect great food and drink. The abundance of great home produced produce and the year-round outdoor climate is perfect for al-fresco dining.
