Our 3-Day Kakadu and Litchfield tour gives you the chance to discover everything the top end of Australia has, including lush scenery, smatterings of pretty waterfalls, and a rich cultural history. Throughout the experience, you’ll get to deep dive into the landscape of this region and learn all about its flora, fauna, and past.
Crocodile Jumping Cruise
We’ll begin the tour with an exciting adventure on a crocodile jumping cruise. During this, you’ll discover more about these majestic, prehistoric creatures and capture some incredible photo opportunities.
Kakadu National Park
The Kakadu National Park is a sprawling expanse of incredible wildlife and stunning scenery. During our first day here, we’ll enjoy a picnic on the pretty banks of the East Alligator River before exploring the gallery of ancient rock art at Ubirr Rock. From here, you can marvel at the sweeping views over the mesmerising Nardab floodplain and Arnhemland.
Aussie BBQs
Each night, we’ll tuck into a delicious Aussie-style BBQ, where you can try local dishes like crocodile, buffalo, and kangaroo to get your tastebuds going.
Twin Falls
The top end of Australia is renowned for its stunning collection of cascading waterfalls. We’ll take you to one of the most popular, Twin Falls, where you can soak up views from the top of the Arnhemland Escarpment and cool off in the refreshing rock pools that surround it.
Litchfield National Park
Towards the end of the experience, we’ll head into Litchfield National Park, another beautiful expanse of wildlife and lush landscapes. Here, you can discover Wangi Falls and Tolmer Falls, two more of the region’s beloved waterfalls, and check out the fascinating Buley Rockholes for a picnic lunch. You’ll have the chance to take a final refreshing dip at Florence Falls, before we leave Litchfield and make our way back to Darwin.
Along the way, we’ll stop off at the grand termite mounds that Litchfield is so famous more. This is one of the most impressive attractions in the area and well worth the wait to see.
Then finally it’s time for the tour to come to a close. We’ll drop you off in Darwin full of memories of this wonderful part of Australia – you’ll have plenty of photos to flick through, too, including picturesque waterfalls, sprawling escarpments, and a fascinating collection of native wildlife.
