In the heart of Australia’s dusty outback, Darwin and Alice Springs provide visitors with exceptional scenery that is out of this world. Our 5 day Darwin to Uluru Tour $658 give you the chance to discover everything the red centre of Australia has to offer, from the incredible natural monuments to the fascinating history that imbues the area.
Mataranka Hot Springs
After we leave Darwin at sunrise, we promptly head to the Mataranka Hot Spring via Edith Falls, where you can marvel at the mesmerising waters and rock pools which are perfect for taking a cooling dip in. At the Mataranka Hot Spring, you can revel in the deliciously warm water and soak up the relaxing natural scenery.
Aussie Pub Dinner
The last stop of the day will be at Daly Waters, where you can tuck into a traditional Australian pub dinner. You’ll get to sample local flavours and refuel after a day of incredible sightseeing.
Devils Marbles
On the second day, you’ll get to catch a glimpse of one of Australia’s most magnificent natural wonders – the Devils Marbles. You can snap some photos of these precariously balanced granite rocks before we head onto Alice Springs.
Uluru
On the third day, it is time to venture to Uluru itself. Whilst in the area, you can discover the fascinating history of the region in the Aboriginal Cultural Centre, and pick up some exciting souvenirs to take home with you. Afterwards, you can wander around the base of Australia’s most magnificent monolith before we settle down to watch the sunset. Seeing the dusty landscape glow golden in the evening sun is one of the most magical experiences you’ll
have, and we’ll celebrate with some bubbly and a hearty meal beneath the stars.
Kata Tjuta
The next day, we’ll make our way to Kata Tjuta, another of the Outback’s beloved natural wonders. You’ll have the chance to hike through the Valley of the Winds before checking out the jaw-dropping views from the George Gill Range. We’ll end the day around the campfire before bedding down under the stars.
Kings Canyon
On the final day we’ll hotfoot it to Kings Canyon, where we’ll spend the day hiking along the impressive walls. Here, you’ll get to explore the sandstone cliffs and admire the greenery of the valley from various lookout points. Afterwards, we’ll head back to Alice Springs where this magical five-day trip unfortunately comes to an end.
