During the 2 Day Great Ocean Road and Phillip Island Tour , the overnight accommodation will be at Bells Beach Lodge in the famous town of Torquay, Australias surfing capital.   The famous Bells Beach holds international surf competitions every year, bringing surfers and fans from all over the world.  The town is also the home to Rip Curl and Quicksilver, two of the biggest surf brands around.
The lodge is a perfect home away from home, located at the gateway to the Great Ocean Road.  Settle in to this laid-back backpackers, with all the amenities you need including: free tea and coffee, lockers in each room, BBQ facilities, and secure luggage storage to name a few.  Laundry, internet, surfboard and bike hire, are also available for a small price. The best part about this hostel is the beds!  The owner is an avid traveller as well, who spent years as a tour guide, and the main complaint

with every place he stayed at was how uncomfortable the beds were.  Not here!  Hes put in the effort to give each backpacker a comfy place to lay their head, just like home. The backpackers is clean, roomy, and a great place to meet fellow travellers coming or going on the Great Ocean Road. Share stories, photos, and tips in the common area or out back by the BBQ area.  Its a great way to gain knowledge on the road ahead and some travellers had fantastic pointers on where to get the best photos on The Great Ocean Road.

The kitchen is available to cook your own food as well, but you shouldnt miss out on the traditional Aussie BBQ included in your trip!  If you havent experienced an Aussie BBQ, youre in for a treat!

With nice beds, friendly staff and hospitality, and a great location, Bells Beach is the best choice in town.

Another great addition to the lodge is the staff. The hostel employees are happily there to give out information on the area and the best deals in town.  Whether youre looking for a nice walk in the morning, or want to find the best coffee in town, the knowledgeable staff will point you in the right direction.  After a light breakfast, its time to say goodbye to your new friends and the lodge and venture out to Bells Beach to catch the local surfers in action.
