The Penguin Parade is one of Phillip Island’s most sought-after activities. As evening descends, the cute colony of resident Little Penguins waddles up the beach after a day of fishing, and you can watch this all unfold against the backdrop of a stunning beach. Our Penguin Parade Tour gives you the chance to get up close and personal with these critters and learn more about their behavior and habitat.
Throughout the day, you’ll be exposed to incredible Victorian coastline scenery and a plethora of native animal life.
Maru Wildlife Park
After a picnic lunch on the way to Phillip Island, we’ll head to Maru Wildlife Park, where you can feed Eastern Grey Kangaroos and have your photo taken with a cuddly koala. You’ll also get to see

emus, wombats, and dingoes, some of Australia’s most famous native animals.

Chocolate Factory
As we make our way onto Phillip Island via the mainland bridge, we’ll stop off at the Chocolate Factory for you to grab a tasty treat for the road. This is a great place to pick up some souvenirs for friends, or simply sample some of the delicious chocolates.
Woolamai Beach
Next, you’ll get to experience the breath-taking beauty of Phillip Island first-hand at Woolamai Beach after a quick pit stop at the Grand Prix Circuit. On the pristine beaches, you can watch the seal colonies frolic on the rocks, and look out over the stunning views from the Nobbies Information Centre.
Penguin Parade
Afterwards, we’ll make our way back to Melbourne, where your day of animals and adventure on Phillip Island unfortunately comes to an end. You’ll have plenty of photos to remember your special day, though – as well as some chocolate treats, too.

Finally, it’s time for the star of the show. As evening begins to fall on Phillip Island, we’ll head to watch the Penguin Parade. Every year, thousands of visitors flock to the beach to see this feat of nature, and you’ll have the once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience it for yourself. Watch as the Little Penguins emerge from the ocean and come ashore to their burrows. As well as watching the action unfold, you can learn more about these fascinating creatures in the Visitor’s Centre, which holds insights into the behavior of the penguins and the history of their natural habitat.
