Get to know the beautiful landscape and culture of Phillip Island on our 2 Day Great Ocean Road and Phillip Island Tour $259. Over the space of two days, you’ll have the chance to learn more about this fascinating part of Australia, visit stunning beaches, and explore the culture of cute coastal towns.
The Great Ocean Road
We’ll start the tour from Melbourne, taking you straight out onto the Great Ocean Road – one of Australia’s best-loved attractions. Here, you can admire the wild scenery as we stop off at some of the major landmarks, including the 12 Apostles, the Shipwreck Coast, and the Gibson Steps. Before we leave, you’ll have ample time to take photos of the impressive Archway and the Razorback, and discover the haunting story of Australia’s most famous shipwreck at the Loch Ard Gorge.
Otway National Park
Afterwards, we’ll take a stroll at Mait’s Rest, which will take you through the ancient, lush rainforest at the Otway National Park. Marvel at the huge trees and look out for a diverse selection of critters as you go.

Get to Know the Animals
We’ll then take a break in quaint seaside town Lorne for some lunch, before we head to the Kennett River to do some animal spotting – expect to see koalas, kookaburras, and colourful parrots amongst other species.
We’ll spend the night at Bells Beach Backpackers after tucking into a delicious traditional Aussie barbecue.
Bells Beach
We’ll kickstart the second day by watching surfers work their magic on the waves at Bells Beach, before we cruise through Barwon Heads and Ocean Grove. We’ll then board the Queenscliff to Sorrento Ferry and head to Phillip Island – keep your eyes peeled for seals and dolphins as we make the crossing.
Phillip Island
Once on the island, we’ll head to a wildlife park to see kangaroos, emus, and wombats in their natural habitat, before we check out the surf at Woolamai Beach. In the afternoon, you’ll have the chance to see the Moto Grand Prix Track, spot some seals, and see the Nobbies before the evening show of the world-famous Penguin Parade, where you can watch the resident colony of Little Penguins march up the beach to their nests for the night.
This is the last stop on the tour, and afterwards we’ll take you back to Melbourne with your incredible memories of this amazing two-day adventure.
